Create enabling environments
to transform lives.

We believe that everyone has the ability to do well with support and systems that foster growth through creating thriving environments.  With the right skill set, a community can offer the security and stability that doesn’t fail those most in need.

About The Foundation

The Doreena and Eric James Foundation exists to provide skills, education, and training to empower underserved communities and fuel the transformations required in a modern global economy. Through outreach programs with local stakeholders and partnerships that align with our aim of seeing lives supported, we aim to adequately impact the health of the community through accessibility to scholarships.

Established in 2024, The Doreena and Eric James Foundation (DEJ) is a nonprofit organization that has been approved by the IRS for 501(c)(3) status. It is committed to creating pathways to opportunity for underserved and neglected communities in rural Jamaica. Our foundation operates autonomously from any affiliated companies and adheres to the governance of the Board of Directors and IRS regulations.

The Doreena and Eric James Foundation is a family-led initiative born out of the grief and loss of a loved one. We uncovered a perpetuating phenomenon in rural Clarendon caused by abject poverty and underserved communities. Our primary focus is to enable and remove the barriers that render families, the elderly, and children hopeless in accessing the support and assistance needed to meet their primary health needs.

Our Vision

Creating a Jamaica where every individual thrives in health and prosperity, overcoming barriers to well-being and economic inclusion.
